Just for the taste of it??Jem: Most people know that Karl Lagerfeld lost a ton of weight by consuming nothing but diet Coke. Most people also know that Gidget and I lurv diet Coke. We don't drink it because it's diet. We drink it because it is the nectar of the Gods. There's nothing better than the sweet burn of a cold diet C. Yes, we know it's bad for us. Yes, we know there's aspartame in it. But, we could be addicted to worse!!

Mr. K has signed on to do a Coca Cola light campaign. And while CCL is the best thing you can get in France, it is in no way diet Coke. It has a completely different flavour.

I wonder if Coco Chanel feels this way about what Karl has done to her brand. That is to say, taking a very similar, but inferior product and shove it in the faces of Earth.
Maybe that's why Coco Rocha can't bring herself to actually drink it!!

This goes out to Gidget...
Jem: This goes out to my BFF, Gidget. It has many things that she loves: a cute boy in a suit, a cute girl in a cute dress, and a dance sequence.
I hope you enjoy, Madame!! Love you!!

gidget: I wish JGL was my bf!

Lizzi Miller has a Pretty Smilegidget: It has been all over the media. You have seen her face. You have seen her thighs. She is a model in a magazine and she is not a size 2 or 0. Glamour magazine published a picture of a model who wears a size 12. OMG! stop the presses....i think she may even have a little tummy.

The first time I saw the picture of Lizzi Miller I noticed her pretty smile. I didn't even notice her tummy! No joke, i thought the pic was cute cause the model seemed to be genuinely happy. Now there is so much talk of her tummy. It must be weird to be her and have to talk about your own tummy on T.V! Anyway, the thing i found disheartening is that there are still so many people who feel the need to say that this picture presents an unhealthy body example. Some blogs even have commenter's arguing about whether she is healthy! Clearly, there is not enough of a variation in the women that are featured in the media if this can make such big news. The actual picture in the magazine is small! I am happy to see Glamour magazine taking a step forward in its portrayal of the female figure (one size does not fit all), let's just hope that they, and other magazines, keep it up!

9. What are You Waiting For? - Gwen Stefani
10. I Want it That Way - Backstreet Boys
11. Unconditional - The Bravery
12. Going Under - Evanescence
13. Wonderwall - Oasis

Movie Review: 500 Days of Summer

Jem: I might have to like this movie more now that I've seen this version of the poster. It's très adorable!! So last night, after months, weeks and days of anticipation, I finally made it out to see this flick.
I liked it.
It's definitely a hipster's wet dream but, that being said, there are some great, honest moments in the movie. The soundtrack is good, naturally featuring such artists as The Smiths, Carla Bruni, The Pixies and Feist. Also, the movie has a nice look to it and even though it jumps around a lot it does so in an interesting way that flows well...well, once you get used to it. The first 10 minutes are little all over the place, if you ask me. Which, you invariably did since you're reading my blog post.
And I think the casting is really good. Joseph Gordon Levitt is really great and cute and cute in it (yes, he's so cute I had to say it twice). And Zooey Deschanel is the hipster it-girl. She's adorable and pretty but normal. She has some decent clothes in the movie...and a few great outfits. As a rule, I really like ZD but I didn't like her character at all. I think Summer is a mean jerk!
That is all.

Yummy scrummy!!
Jem: So I found this pic of Ed Westwick on Go Fug Yourself and they were talking about how fugly Ed looks here without his socks. I'm kinda diggin' his look, to be perfectly honest. I think he looks casually cool. The James Dean tee is a bit obvious but who hasn't gone through a Jimmy Dean phase in their life?
Besides, he's tanned and glorious! And I'm thrilled that Chuck and Blair are together.
I love love!!!
