Is it Crazy that I found Tori Spelling entertaining?

Jem: So, last night, I was watching Tori Spelling's show, So NoTORIous, on tv last night, and I have to admit, I found it slightly hilarious. I have never been a big Tori fan...but I love, love, love 90210 and Donna Martin will always have a place in my heart.

I think it's great when celebs make fun of themselves. And, even if it is a cartoonish view of what life was like for little Tori, it's still outrageous and so far from my up-bringing that I find it wildly entertaining!

That's it, that's all!

Gidget: Shut the heck up! I was watching that show last night too. I thought show was ridiculous, but in such a good way. funny. i love how tori can't act, but tries so hard. Somehow it just works.

Chris Carpenter is soooo dreamy!

Jem: In honour of Chris Carpenter, I am posting this blog in Cardinal red. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm a tried and true, pure orange and blue, Tigers fan until I die. But, I was watching the Cards beat out the Padres the other day with Gidget and I couldn't keep my eyes of that Cutie McCute pitcher, number 29, Chris Carpenter.

This is Chris at work. The picture is small but notice his concentration and glorious forearms.

This is a picture of Chris' cute, little face. He just looks so sweet...

Alas, he is married, and is, therefore, ineligible for celebrity husband status.

I read that his son's name is Sam. That is, quite possibly the cutest boy's name...except for maybe, Elliot.

I guess my point is that I think he's cute!

The Beautiful Boys of summer...and, now, Fall!

Well, things are definitely looking good for my team, my boys, the Detroit Tigers! I mean after 19 years of being shut-out from the play-offs, we're going home and we're up two games. We're in it to win it!! I have loved this team my entire life; and now, I know why!!!

But I'm not here to bore you with stats about how great these guys are...I mean, you have the internet...look it up if you want to know! I'm here to talk about how cute baseball players are...and for more than just their looks! If you've ever met the Gidge or myself, then you know that she and I are crazy about men in uniform...policemen, firemen, navy, army, doctor...you name it, we love it...but, the baseball uniform is one of our faves. Those tight, tapered pants aren't necessarily the most stylish things going but, there's something about them that can make a 30 year old man look like a little boy all over again. There's something youthful and vulnerable about them...and the baseball caps are just too cute.

There are some of you out there who would scoff at Gidget and me; saying "They're athletes, and should be regarded as such. They aren't there for your viewing pleasure!" To which I reply "Women's Volleyball people!!! At least the boys I'm oogling wear clothes!"

Here are some things I've noticed, while watching the Tigers kick butt!

Detroit is a high-five team! I totally love this about this ball club; after every great play, every run, every member of the team gives and receives a high-five. It's so boy-ish and it shows an amazing amount of team spirit and camaraderie. Good sportsmanship is hot! It's also hot when players get a little pissed off...but it's hotter when they're nice, and love to play the game.

This is Craig Monroe. He is cute!! And he's an awesome player!

This is Jaime Walker. He is a pitcher...a closer, actually. That means he can handle the pressure of having to win a ball game. He is so cute and very tall. I especially like him because he looks like, and reminds me of, a boy I had a crush on in high school. Coincidentally, he was also named Jaime!
