gidget: Jem told me to check out the cover of French Vogue to take a look at Julianne Moore.
I get that this is suppose to be all zzzzzsexy, but the picture makes me laugh out loud. Julianne looks like she is a feline caught in the headlights. I just don't know which way to go, and the light is moving toward me. hahaha....and i love how she is stabbing herself in her leg with her super duper sexy heels. hot!

This story definitely has me seeing red. Gidget's hubby is reportedly dating Cameron Diaz...puke! She just seems so dumb...

An eyewitness saw them canoodling at a hotel: "They walked up to the balcony area to look at the sunset. He had one arm round her waist and the other on the small of her back. She kept giggling and touching his chest to whisper in his ear. They obviously had a good night."

I'm sure that's not all that slut touched!!!

Jem: So, I'm sure by now you've heard about Jeff Healey dying of cancer on Sunday at the age of 41 and now, we find out that Sexy Swayze, 55 and co-star to Healey in Road House, is battling pancreatic cancer. Apparently, the survival rate is dismally low for this type of cancer but Patrick is responding well to treatment and remaining optimistic.

How sad. I hope he gets well. I don't think I want to live in a world where Johnny Castle dies. Who's going to get Baby out of that corner? Who's going to teach Keanu the joys of surfing and manly loving? And most importantly, who else could teach the patrons of the Double Deuce how to get along better than James Dalton? Oh, and how to rip a guy's throat out if absolutely necessary. Which, it totally was.

Gidget: I do like this video! And we all know that i love Kylie. BUT, i do like 'In my Arms' better. Both songs are great and fun to dance too. I just think 'In My Arms' is a killer track.

Jem: Okay, I have a pretty big crush on the JoeFresh label. I think they have a lot of really cute stuff and it's made even better by the super teeny-tiny price tag. It just goes to show that we can have quality for reasonable prices. I think these two looks are pretty adorable. Although, the dress might be a bit tough to wear.

It also reminds me of this interesting piece I saw about how there aren't very many luxury designers left anymore. How houses like Chanel (my once-beloved), Dolce and Gabbana, Versace and Louis Vuitton have become mass produced and marketed nightmares. There's nothing luxury left about them besides the price tag. Hermès is really the only luxury design house left as their products are still handmade and the client is 100% responsible for deciding upon key design elements.

gidget: I am also huge fan of Joe Fresh! I was wearing a dress i got from the Joe Fresh line last summer on Friday night. I love the look of the short jacket with the shorts in the top picture. Model also has great hair, though she is a tad too pale. i am not as much a fan of the pink dress. While i do like the color of the dress, i like dresses to have more structure. The straps are a little too small.

Worst video, ever!

Jem: It doesn't surprise me in the least that Spencer directed this piece of wet garbage. Ew, ew, ew! I mean, it's so super budget and Heidi can't lip-synch at all!!! I honestly couldn't sit through the entire thing. See if you have a stronger stomach than me, Gidge.

Gidget: i just can't do it Jem! it is so bad. why would heidi not make a 'real' video???? it kinda makes me sad :(

Jem: I'm normally not much of a White Stripes fan. I'm not denying the talent of Jack White; they're just not my favourite. The Hardest Button to Button is a good track with an even better video. And props to the WS for donating all those instruments to inner city schools.

You call that a comeback???

Jem: Okay, I'm aware at how long ago this happened. I've just been too busy to post anything about it. Poor, poor Britney. It looks like her talent left with her sanity. Seriously, the song's catchy enough but it's missing something. Wouldn't you agree? It's certainly no Toxic.

And, forgive me if I'm wrong but, didn't she used to dance? Now she just sort of fumbles around. Or should I say stumbles? It's pretty obvious she's on something. It's also pretty obvious that everyone in the audience is just praying she'll fall on her face, or shave her head on stage, or do something equally outrageous. Instead, all they get is this half-assed, lack-lustre performance.

Props to the hot mama bod, though.

Sexy Dave is solo...

Jem: I like this track. It's great, and Dave Gahan is as sexy as ever. Seriously the ONLY guy who looks amazing in a wife beater and tight jeans!

Heidi Takes a Stand!

Jem: Okay, I am not a Heidi fan. I don't think it's cool that she picked her boyfriend over her Best best. I also think she has an EXTREMELY annoying speaking voice akin to nails on a chalkboard.

But last night's episode of The Hills made me want to hug Heidi and take her out for cosmos. She finally stood up for herself by painting over that slightly-cool-but-highly-innappropriate Hollywood mural that Spencer "surprised" her with.

You should have seen the look on Spencer's face when he walked in. I love the way she made her point to him. "We can decide what to do with this wall together."

He was pissed. But she was completely right. They're living together and are going to get married. (Rumour alert: the engagement is fake!) Spencer has to learn to talk to Heidi about stuff before just jumping in headfirst.

Anyway, she made momma proud last night.

Jem: Ok, I really like Nicole Kidman's hair here. It's a really pretty champagne blonde and the cut and length are nice...I'm thinking I'll bring this pic to my hair guru, Natalie the next time I get my hair done.

side note: Gidge, my hair is almost this length already...can you believe it? It grows so GD fast in the summer!

Anywho, what I don't like is her simpering face in this picture. Although it makes it more believable that she's in a movie about alien body-snatchers...

Gidget: I like the cut, but not the colour. It is too much bland colour for someone so pale. The cut is super cute though!
